Online
Submission of PDU's through PMI
The
process / procedure for reporting Professional Development
Units (PDUs) for Ocean State PMI meetings has changed
over time, so we wanted to fill you in on the new process.
You'll be submitting the information through the PMI
web site.
1)
Sign onto PMI's member only area for PDU reporting:
http://www.occe.ou.edu/pmi/PMI_Member/PDUlogin.php3
You'll
need your PMP id (that's on your PMI card) and your
certificate number (that's on your PMP certificate you
received from PMI). The password is the first four letters
of your last name. Click on the image below to zoom
in.

2)
View your online Transcript
Once logged in, you can view your online transcript
by clicking the link that says 'Online PDU Transcript'.
Click it to view the transcript.

On the left you'll see the link replaced now with 'PDU
Reporting Form'. That's the form you'll use to report
your PDU's. Click on the link and you will see the PDU
Reporting Form.
3)
Submit the PDU's
Now you're presented with a question:
What activity do you wish to claim? with a drop down
box.

Choose
Category 3 which reads:
Registered Education Provider Program / PMI Component
Event
Click
the continue button.
4)
Use Option 1:
There are two options shown on the page, use option
1 and enter the provider id of C207 and the course id
as the date of the meeting. For example for February
10th, 2005 meeting, the course id would be 02102005.
Click the 'Find Course' button.

Since
there is not a specific course titled with that, the
page will return with a form that says: Provider Name:
Ocean State Chapter
and a button that allows you to indicate that this is
a regular one or two PDU component meeting. Click the
button. See the page below:

5)
Submit Meeting Details
You
should be seeing the detail page shown below to submit
the date and PDU details of the meeting.

Add
the Title of the Presentation in the field that says
'Course or Event Title' and add the date of the meeting.
Then choose '1' for the # of PDU's earned. Don't forget
to put in whether the meeting met its objectives and
click off the 'I agree' box regarding submission of
the PDU's.
That's
it. You can submit another if you have more than one
meeting to enter. You'll find the dates of all previous
meetings on the following page from OSPMI's web site:

Meetings: http://www.oceanstatepmi.org/newsite/PastMeetings_PDUs.html
