The Ocean State Chapter has been chartered since the summer
of 1999, and was established as a professional development organization for Rhode Island professionals from
all areas of industry.
Our goal is to provide a professional
forum for all of our members to collectively share their ideas and experiences as they relate to the field
of Project Management. The current Board of Directors was elected in 2004 and works
diligently to provide a number of benefits for Ocean State PMI members.
Membership meetings are held on a
regular basis, and everyone is welcome. See the schedule of upcoming meetings and events that focus on
building project management excellence.
The Programs Committee works diligently throughout the year to identify and schedule
featured speakers who are available to speak on topics of interest to our membership. Featured speakers in the past have presented on topics
including "PMP Certification", "Handling stress in the workplace", and "Overall Project Management", among
others.
