Welcome! This page contains a summary of Ocean State PMI upcoming meetings and events. Past meetings are also shown to provide access to presentations and handouts for those that may have missed the event. Registration for the events is recommended. OSPMI provides an online registration form for each event. Please feel free to email us at board_of_directors@oceanstatepmi.org with any questions you may have.

A typical agenda is as follows:

6:00 PM - Registration, Networking and Cash Bar

6:30 PM - Welcome Address/Chapter President Co-Incident with Dinner (optional)

7:00 PM - Featured Speaker

8:15 PM - Q&A/Wrap-Up

8:30 PM - Adjourn

The online registration forms expire at midnight the Monday before the meeting. This allows us to call in a formal count to the Marriot. Walk in's are accepted on the day of the meeting, but meal choice may be limited. If you are interested in attending the meeting and it is after the registration deadline, you can email Steve Kaluzny at vp_administration@oceanstatepmi.org, with your request. All meals for late registrations and walk-ins will need to be paid at the door.

Credit cards are not accepted at the door - payment options are limited to check or cash.

A summary of the topics that have been covered this year are in the following table. The number beginning with C207 is the correct code to use for PDU reporting purposes. Each meeting qualifies as 1 Professional Development Unit (PDU).

February 12, 2004	C207-02122004 - Predicting Project Completion with speaker Johanna Rothman - Joint meeting with RIASQ (RI Association for Software Quality). In this presentation, we'll discuss techniques to avoid the 90% syndrome (after the first 90%, you still have 90% of the project left), and how to predict the end of the project more successfully.
